Hello Everyone!
If I'm going to have any credibility in the things I say I should probably tell you a little about myself. My name is Jake Wingo and I'm a football player at Washburn University. I'm majoring in Mass Media and that's why I'm starting this blog. Every day I see stories written online and in newspapers by people who have never played football in their life and I wonder how they feel that they are experts on something they have never done. Reporting scores is one thing but once you start making assumptions about what players are feeling and thinking, on and off the field, I feel that you need some experience (past Pop Warner) to do so. While I may not always be right and I might have some unpopular opinions I believe that 14 years of playing experience gives what I'm saying at least a little validity. I look forward to some responses from anyone reading!
